Hans-Michael Schnell, B.Sc.

Hans-Michael Schnell is the Founder of The Kreo Group Collective, Managing Partner, Financial Consultant and Life Strategist who partners with likeminded companies, professionals and out-of-the-box thinkers to strategically create an environment to enhance the efficient and effective use of your money, human-to-human.  

After working for over a decade in the financial field for organizations such as Merrill Lynch, CIBC Wood Gundy and London Life, Hans has truly learned what he believes to be the key to financial happiness – and it’s not recommending the flavour of the week; it’s a complete lifelong economic process.

Whew!  That was a mouthful…Basically, what we are trying to say.  Hans believes that the solution to building wealth doesn’t only come from one product, one decision, a specific rate of return or a single strategy.  It requires financial coordination.

It’s how well you connect with the real people you're trying to help and communicating your understanding back to them.

Believe it or not, it's not all about finance for Hans. Prior to entering the industry, Hans spent five years south of the border on an athletic baseball scholarship. After school, he came back home and played eight years for the historic hometown Toronto Maple Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League.

Hans is also very passionate in the start-up and freelancer community.  As an entrepreneur himself, he understands how difficult it can be to be your own boss.  He believes that together we achieve more and is an advocate of collaboration and loves innovation.  He believes that if you want to make a change in your life, in your finances or even in the world – it starts with you!

Joe Bartok

Joe Bartok is an accountant and business manager who has been practicing for over a decade. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Honours) from Brock University in 1997, followed by a Master’s degree in Business Administration (specializing in Arts, Media and Entertainment Administration) from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 2006.

Joe is the founder of This is the Deal Inc., a Toronto-based business management firm that provides accounting and consulting services for over 300 clients within a wide range of industries, specializing in entertainment. 

Prior to starting This is the Deal, Joe spent over 6 years in finance and accounting roles at independent and major Canadian record labels. He also teaches part-time as an instructor of music-business accounting courses at several GTA institutions.

Outside of work, Joe is an active drummer, percussionist and songwriter.
